Scraplifting Kaiser

In one of the free Kaiser Magazines I saw an altered Canvas.  I loved the layout so decided to “scraplift” it and make it into an SU! Layout.  These photos were taken on my birthday when Alexandra decided to have a little stamping practice with Mummy.  She’s just so darn cute I had to scrap them.  I turned them into black and white firstly to try to hide her grotty face from helping Daddy make cake and secondly to minimise the “noise” from my messy desk!!

Paper: Berry Bliss Designer Series paper, Close to Cocoa and Choc Chip Card stock.
Other: White Gel Pen, Urban West Rubons, White Halfback Pearls from Pretties Kit

I hope you like it.
Until Next time,
Happy scrapbooking!

Simply Scappin’

simply-scrap1.JPG

I love the look of the new Stampin’ Up! Simply Scrappin’ Kits.  Particularly the Crew Kids Girl Kit.  This morning whilst my little cherubs were sleeping and watching a video I got stuck in and made up 18 6×6 pages from a template that I had here.  I have barely even put a dent into the Kit!!  I only added a couple of extra pages of 12×12 Whisper White & voila i’ve scrapped Alexandra’s First Birthday! Woo hoo me!!

As you can see above this is what is still left over from the kit even after i’ve done the 18 Pages!!  If you are interested in purchasing one of these kits from me I will include the templates that I used to quickly and easily scrap so many pages in one morning!  The scrap kits are $36.95 and include 8 sheets of Textured Cardstock in 4 different colours, 6 sheets of Self-adhesive die cuts, 2 of each design, and 3 sheets each of 2 different double sided papers which are of cardstock quality.  It’s great value and i’ve still got HEAPS of scrapbooking that I can do with the leftovers from this mornings project.  Email me on [email protected] if you are interested in getting a kit of your own!!

Until next time, Happy scrapping!!

Scrapping my Beautiful Boy!

My Stampin’ Up! Upline Alisa Tilsner posted some challenges on our team forum last week.  This is one of the things I made for the challenges.  This one was to use Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip & Whisper White in a card or layout.  I decided to scrap this beautiful picture I took of my darling little man a month or so back.  He is such a lovely natured little guy!!

Cardstock: Blue Bayou & Soft Sky Textured Cardstock, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White.

Stamps: Genuine Article & Office Accoutrement.

Accesories: 1 1/4″ Square Punch, Scissors, Blue Bayou Double Stitched Ribbon (yummy).

Now a couple of points of interest are the zig zags at the bottom of the page.  I have made these using my 1 1/4″ square punch.  I just turned it upside down, put the paper in where I thought was a good size, marked the punch with a black pen to use as a guide for the rest of the punches.  Aligning the marks and the previouse punched triangle as I went along. Does that make sense?  If not let me know and I can attempt a tutorial.   The Other point of interest is the photo corner in the top right hand of the photo.  I again used te 1 1/4″ punch.  I punched out a square from the textured Soft Sky Cardstock and cut it in half on the diagonal.  I put the two triangles together and cut it across as wide as I thought the photo corner should be.  Hope that helps!

Until next time, happy stamping!!
