Bit of this, bit of that!!
Hello lovely readers!! Well if you are still around even though i’ve been neglecting you, I thank you! Life has been on fast forward these last few weeks and I haven’t seem to have gotten much done. Having said that I’ve also gotten sucked into playing silly games on the computer waaaay past the time that I should have gone to bed, fed my children, done my housework etc etc!! LOL
I’ve also been doing classes in my home and i’ve no sooner done one than it’s the following week for another!! Amazing how time flies when you’re having fun! (waving to everyone who’s been!!)
Anyway, below are a couple of cards I made with the very lovely Miss Treez what seems like an eon ago. We had a lovely day stamping and catching up and having a little weep on each others shoulders! Don’t you love how you can do that with your stamping buddies? Anyway, enough chatter! The first card was a CASE from the catalogue using a colour combination from the SU! Colour Coach. I Cased the tag from page 71.

Colours are Old Olive, More Mustard, Elegant Eggplant and Bravo Burgundy! Not a combo i’d use naturally but looks not too bad together hey?
The next card is my Michelle Zindorf wannabe!!
Theresa gave me a fabbo demonstration on using the brayer. As you can see i’m still sporting “L” plates!! LOL

Next picture is what happens when the supanova glitter is left within reach of a very inquisitive but ever so cute 2 year old!

As you can see in the top half of the picture she has emptied the WHOLE container. And why yes, it was EVERYWHERE!!! And may I just say that my husband looked fetching with tangerine glitter in his beard at work the next day?! lol. It was through the entire house!! When I scooped it all up and put it back in the tub you can see just how far that stuff goes! It doesn’t even look like any has been used!! Amazing isn’t it? I am sure Miss Alexandra is still sporting some in her hair and ears regardles of the numerous washings she’s had since then!!
And on a final note! A reward for getting to the end of this very long-winded waffly post – a picture of Miss Lara and Miss Alexandra!! Cuteness doubled! I was quick to snap a picture of Lara the other day whilst the dreaded Nasal Gastric Tube was out!! She looked so pretty and peaceful!

Until next time!!
Keep your glitter up & happy stamping!
Mad

Sounsd like you have had a tough road with your little one, and she looks very peacefull in that photo, one to remember in the middle of the night! I love your cards! especially the first one, what an awesome color combo!
Oh what a lovely photo of the two girls. Lara looks like she’s grown heaps! And thanks for the tip about the glitter, I’ve been lucky so far, but it’s only a matter of time before a certain someone gets into my stuff! At the moment the crimper is his favourite, so hopefully he’ll stick to that!
The first card is GORGEOUS…your brayering is awesome…your girls are just perfect ♥
I’m still giggling over the idea of all that lovely glitter to play in
Gorgeous photo of your beautiful girls Mads.
LOL about the glitter. My poor husband goes to work with glitter on him too. I told him to look out for other men in the office with glitter on them then ask if their wives stamp/scrapbook. LOL.
hehe, awwww your girls are so precious. It’d probably be me that made that much mess with the glitter in my house, lol. I really do like that colour combo in the CASE card! I am a bit nervous to venture into brayer land as yet
Glad to have you back Madonna. Thanks for sharing the beautiful picture of Lara and Alexandra. I love your brayered card. If you still have L plates in brayering, I hate to think where I stand. You can give me lessons any day.
Stay sparkly!
Sign that child up! She has such “a way” with bling!
That’ll teach mummy from leaving stuff out. Ha!
Little Miss Lara is looking gorgeous! and how did Alexandra grow that much in such a short time. I’m sure it was only 6 months ago that I wheeled her around the Convention Centre!!!!
Nice cards too Mads…….clever girlie.
Mine was the pink glitter a 4 year old and gumboots, got to love the bling…lol..
