More top notes

May 18th, 2010

Hi hi!  I told you i’d be back today.  Albeit later than I had originally planned in my head!!  It’s a shame that what goes on in my head never really seems to come to fruition in the real world.  Does anyone else have that problem??  lol

These two cards I made using a similar layout to the one on yesterday’s card.  Instead of the pleated paper I did some ruffled ribbon in Elegant Eggplant.  Love that colour.

I really love this colour combination.  Sahara Sand, Basic Grey, Elegant Eggplant.  Beautiful.  I used my trusty Organic Outlines.  And sentiments from Sweet Little Sentiments and Best yet.  The buttons and Brads are SU Basic Grey Corduroy.  I love the texture on this card!!

Anyway, hope you’re having a great week so far.  Hope to get back to you with some more stuff i’ve been doing soon!!

Until then,
Happy Stamping!
Mad

Look at you go girl!!! All of these posts so close together. A great card layout and great colour combo-I am also loving elegant eggplant ever since you brought it to my attention at retreat, thanks Mads!!!

Wow! You did it! I am happy for you. I spent two days on my most recent card (maybe ~3 hours total.) I am happy with it, but wish I could have a dozen made in that time frame, even if they were all the same.

I love anything with elegant eggplant; I bet that looks amazing IRL with Sahara sand!

You need to teach me how to do the ruffled ribbon thing. Everytime I try it, the ribbon lays too flat and I don’t like it.

Great cards, keep tormenting me with the top note lady, it’ll almost make me buy a Big Shot.

    Very, very gorgeous Ms. Mads.
