Mystery Card Kit Swap!!

Hi All,

Gosh, what a week!!  I wasn’t sure if I was coming or going for half of it!!  I did find out however that i’m B12 deficient so that explains my inability to concentrate or focus!! Yay!!  I’m not as insane as I thought I was!!

Anyway, I’ve finally gotten my sample together for the Mystery Card swap and there are a few other samples to share with you as well.

My kit included a sheet of the hostess 6×6 paper in Poppy Parade, an A5 sheet of Poppy Parade, some So Saffron and a piece of Baha Ribbon.  I didn’t end up using the Baha ribbon but I added some Pear Pizazz to the mix and made this:

And! I do believe it was the first time I’d used Poppy Parade!!  Yay me!  I used the FREE SAB set Punch Pals and Great Friend for the Sentiment.  I hope you like it!!

Now here are some more of the Mystery Kit cards for your enjoyment!!

You can also find some other samples from the Mystery Kit in the following places:

Annette @ Lavender thoughts

Felicity @ Felicity’s Craft Corner

Alison @ Gothdove Designs

I LOVED this!!  It was so much fun!!  I loved seeing what everyone has been doing with their kits!  Next time I think I want to say send two kits because I wanted to keep them all!!  As other cards come in I will update this post!  Please leave lots of comment love for the girls and their cards!!

Until next time,
Happy Stamping!!

Inkspiration #55

Hi!!  Did you miss me this week??!!  LOL.  I’ve been so busy doing all manner of things.  You know, life! LOL

Anyway, so happy to play with the Sketch on the Inkspirations Challenges Site this week.  It fitted my needs perfectly!! I had to do an anniversary card for Mark and this worked really well for me.  I love it!! (err and myself obviously! lol)

The sketch:

And my card:

Now just so you don’t think i’m totally up myself by saying that I love it, let me explain!!  This year is our 15th Wedding Anniversary.  As most people do, we have experienced a lot in those fifteen years.   Each square has meaning!!  Wanna know? Ok, here goes:

First Square Top Right – is for the four kids.  3 Girls & 1 Boy.  Next two squares relate to the sentiment (not Stampin’ Up!)…opening the music of my heart.  Awww.  You going to be sick yet?? LOL.  The next row is purely decorative.  I could say the swirly circle from the Artistic Etchings set was like the interchanging and meandering steps of our lives, crossing paths and going on their own way…but I won’t.  It’s just decorative. LOL.  Bottom row is the 15 for 15 years.  Next I’ve written in Blushing Bride M & M…you know, like for Mark & Madonna!! Hee.  And last is Amour.  Say no more (oh! a poet! lol).  Colours are Regal Rose, Blushing Bride, Not Quite Navy and Confetti White.

Anyway, I hope you like it!!  I hope Mark does too, although being male I may need to explain eh??  lol

Until next time,

Happy Stamping!!
