Mystery Card Kit Swap

What does that mean??  Well I thought for a bit of fun we could create a mystery kit.  Well.  Not that it’s a mystery to you…but to the person that it gets sent to!  How does it work?  You create a kit of ingredients (guidelines below)and then send the kit along with a self addressed envelope.  I will then distribute the kits amongst the “players”.  We’ll have a couple of weeks to complete the task.

Mystery Card kit must include:

  1. A cardstock base (A5 or similar size). Colour of your choice.
  2. Co-ordinating Card Stock for Layering.  May include a piece of patterned papers.  Minimum of two pieces to be included and they must be at least 15cm x 5cm or larger. More than two pieces may be included.
  3. At least one of the following (more than one option may be chosen if desired):
    1. Brads/Rhinestones/Pearls
    2. Length of ribbon (generous enough to be tied in a bow).
    3. Buttons

Please ensure the colours co-ordinate.

Participants are allowed to add ONE neutral colour to this selection.  This includes colours like Kraft (Crumb Cake), Sahara Sand, Vanilla, Whisper White, Confetti White & Cream etc.

Participants will post me their kits NO LATER THAN FRIDAY 14TH OF JANUARY.  Kits will be posted back out by Monday 17th of January.

You have until SUNDAY 30th January to post/publish your completed card using your mystery kit.  You can post a picture to your blog, online gallery or to email to me & I will post on my blog.  If you don’t, you lose the chance to go in the draw to win.  The winner will receive one roll of Stampin’ Up! Satin Ribbon (colour of their choice) along with a packet of Rhinestones. The winner will be chosen via Random.Org.

If you have any questions please EMAIL ME. Or leave me a comment on this post.  I will (try) to keep this post at the top!!

To sign up for this swap please make a note in the comments section.  I will co-ordinate all the names and look forward to your participation!!

This is open to any Australian residents.  You don’t have to be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and you don’t have to use Stampin’ Up! Products.  Obviously there will be a majority of SU girls playing, but please don’t let that stop you!!

Happy Stamping Everyone!!
