Welcome little one…

April 19th, 2010

Ok, so I lied yesterday!  I didn’t think I’d get the chance to get back here.  Umm…can anyone say “Procrastination”??!!  LOL.  I *should* be packing and sorting.  Ah well…there is always tomorrow, right??

This morning I had to get a few gifts and one of those was just  a wee present for a new baby girl!  I grabbed some cute little bibs in some deliciously girly colours as even though the couple I’m sending the gift to have already got a child, it’s not pink!!  lol.  So therefore the colours in the middle bib dictated the colours I used on the box and card.  I am now officially in love with Sahara Sand, Regal Rose & Melon Mambo!!  Gorgeous!!

I whipped up this box and decorated it fairly quickly on my return (by quickly, I mean in less than 2 hours! That’s quick right?).  I used the Nursery Necessities and Sweet Little Sentiments.  The “windows” were cut with the curly label punch and I used a Stampin’ Up! Window behind it.

Looking back and looking forward….

April 18th, 2010

Hi hi hi!!  This week sees us settling on our new (flat, no stairs) house and contemplating the move of all our crap err stuff from our current home to the new one!  I will be internet-less from Friday onwards.  EEK.  After being so good with posting this last week, I didn’t want to let you down so I have trawled through the ‘puter to find stuff you may not have seen, thus the looking back! (clever, no?! lol)

Here is a card I sent my Secret Sister from round 2 of the swap I was in last year.

If you’d like to know products, then shoot me an email and i’ll fill you in!!

I hope to get back to posting sometime this week, no promises though!!  I’m looking forward (see!)  to making this new house into our home.  I’m hoping that it will make Lara’s (and mine & Mark’s) life a little easier to not have to be taken up and down the stairs.  I am looking forward to creating wonderful memories in this new house and sharing it with our family and friends!

Until next time!
Happy Stamping!

You’re on {top note} my mind…

April 15th, 2010

Hi!!  I posted three days in a row!!  How exciting was that?!  I’m even back today with another card made with new Mini goodness!!  Are you beside yourselves with excitement?  Even a little bit? lol

This card was created using the Big Shot Top Note Die, I used Inspired by Nature and Upsy Daisy stamp sets.  The colours are Soft Suede, tangerine Tango and Very Vanilla.  I know this card isn’t an “original” idea, i’ve seen them around before.  But I loved the effect and will be doing it again soon(ish).

you're on my mind

We settle on our new (very flat..as in no stairs) house on Monday.  Still trying to sell this one and I can tell you that trying to keep it clean with 3 kids running around and the 4th being ill is not fun.  Nope.  Not fun at all!  I am a bit over trying to keep it perfect for open homes and possible calls for viewings.  Hard work!!  I much rather leaving the dishes until 3 minutes before hubby walks in the door!!  rofl  (Shh don’t tell anyone but I have a very big lazy bone!!)

Anyway!  Hope this week has been good to you!!
Until Next time!
Happy Stamping!!

Fox and Friends come out to play

April 14th, 2010

Hi!!!  Me again!!  Don’t fall over that this will be the third post in as many days!!!  I’m just beside myself that I got organised enough to do it!!  Can’t make any promises that it will continue though!!  LOL

When I first saw the Fox and Friends set in the new Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue I fell in love with the little animals.  I love them all!!  So cute.  It was one of the first sets on my list of must haves.  I got to break them all out the other day and have a play.  I went with a clean and simple kinda style with bright and bold colours.  I’m on a bit of a Teal and Mustard kick at the moment.  May have something to do with the fact that Teal is leaving me in a few months with the new Colour Renovation that’s going to happen.

I started with this card first and then from that made the little box and set of four cards to match.  Too cute.
