New Stampin’ Up! Website

Hi all,

Just a brief post to give you the details of my Stampin’ Up! business website.   You will be able to keep track of all my events and classes on there a whole lot easier than what i’ve been doing on here!!  I will still be posting to this Blog so don’t worry!!

Check me out –

I’m sorry that i’ve not been posting particularly frequently.  I have had an abcessed tooth (again), we’ve got lots of medical stuff going on with Lara and life in general has been quite busy!!  I am hoping after next week i’ll be able to start getting into a bit of a routine!!

Take care & don’t forget to check out my business web site!!

Until next time,
Happy stamping!

Welcome Rebecca!

Just a quick post this evening.  I’m in the midst of preparing dinner and bathing children!!  Just the usual joys of motherhood!!

The following card was one I made for a dear friend and fellow demonstrator Melissa Garland, on the arrival of her dearest daughter Rebecca.  I think she liked it!! LOL

I’ve used the delicious Rasperry Tart papers and the hostess stamp set Punches Three for the greeting.  I even broke out the sewing machine to put this one together!!

Hope you like it too
Until next time!
Happy Stamping!

Here’s a challenge for you…(Kristie!!)

Hee hee.  Anyone who knows my sister Kristie knows that she does not love Cameo Coral.  I stumbled across this colour combination somewhere recently and wrote it down ready for when I had time to implement it.  This week I had a little (read: miniscule) amount of time for playing so I whipped up a very quick card.  I have challenged Kristie to play along (but I think she’s chicken :-P ), and I encourage you to have a go too.  If you don’t have a blog, send me a picture and i’ll post it on here!!

And here’s a picture of the whole sheet I stamped out.  I’d like to do some one sheet wonder-y cards with the rest.  I think it would make a nice gift set. :-)

The scallops on the right of my card were just created with a template I made myself in word and printed onto heavy cardstock – the backing sheets that come in the DSP packs to be precise.  I then cut it out and traced it onto the Raspberry Tart DSP.  I love the look of fat scallops.

All products used are from Stampin’ Up!

Hope you join in!!

Until next time friends,
Happy Stamping!

Love Note Accordian folder

Hi!!  I’m still around.  School holidays have been seriously sapping my energy and enthusiasm!  By the time I wrangle the children I have absolutely nothing creative left in me!!  But don’t worry – I still have some pictures up my sleeve of projects you haven’t seen. Phew!  LOL

This Love Note accordian folder was cased (copy and share everything) off the big wide internet somewhere.  I cannot find the link in my stuff and I’ve lost the info I wrote down.  So if you know who designed it originally i’d be happy to know so I can link back there.   And my apologies for being so disorganised.  (I don’t think it comes as a surprise to anyone who knows me though!)

The front.  I had to make the little circles with the twine.  I had fallen in love with the idea from some stationery i’d seen.  I love stationery!

And here it is open.  I used some velcro dots to hold it shut properly.  It just seemed to keep it neater.  I think you could use more than the 2 envelopes I used if you wanted more slots.

This is the folder with the four cards I whipped up.  It became the gift for one of my downlines for hosting a team meeting at her house.  I *think* she liked it!!  LOL

Supplies: All supplies are Stampin’ Up! (except the velcro dots).  The papers I used are Walk in the Park, available in the spring mini.

Ok, I’m off to do battle with the children again.  They aren’t gonna love it but it’s time to do some tidying and sorting out of the accumulation of crap   I mean toys and clothes that are in their rooms!!  That is if I don’t decide to just lock them in there for a half an hour of peace first.  I am tempted!!  (no seriously, I DO love my children, I just don’t love the bickering…and the messes…and the attitudes!!)

Until next time friends!
Happy Stamping!!
