Happy Birthday dear Jenna
Earlier this month it was my lovely next door neighbours daughters birthday (get all that?). Jenna was 13. Hard to imagine going back to that!! Anyway…..here’s the card I made her. It had to double as the “wrapping” for her present as well – an itunes voucher. I had to make it look a bit prettier!!! LOL

So you can see that I made a little pull out pocket-y bit on the front of the card to hide the voucher. I had made a little pocket-y bit for it too so that I didn’t have to stick it to anything. I would have much rathered a nice card as opposed to the silly print-out but that’s all the newsagent had! I mean, really! LOL
I have used the sponges and ink on the glossy cardstock to give the effect. Normally I prefer embossing the image but time was not my friend and I had to get it finished. I liked it. Jenna liked it. That’s all that mattered! LOL
Anyway, day 1 of school holidays here today. We’ve just gotten back from a few days at the beach. Went early to avoid crowds. We don’t love crowds! Now it’s back to reality and all that must be accomplished. I just fancy another couple of hours sleep. Ah well. I can sleep when i’m dead I suppose!!
I hope to get back to show you some other projects soon.
Until next time,
Happy stamping!

Gift box & Card Class
Hi all! Just a quick post tonight! I’ve been trying to get this uploaded all day. So when i’m up to time #6, you know you’re not going to get the waffling!! Who knows, you may be grateful for that!! LOL
This box & set of cards is a class i’m running this Thursday morning. I’m also repeating it next Thursday night if you are interested, I still have places available (bookings essential). I won’t be getting my supply of Bella Rose paper replenished prior to the class this week, but there are heaps of other patterned papers you can choose from.
Above: Box shut with all the cards inside.
Below: Open with the belly band beside.

Below: The cards from the inside of the box. The embellishments and ribbons will change to suit the papers you use, as will the stamp sets.
If you would like more information about this class, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Until next time friends,
Happy stamping!

Welcome to the ‘Hood!!
We recently had some new neighbours move in two doors down. It’s good because they are friends of my next-door neighbours good friends. Make sense? Anyway, it’s good because we knew them!! LOL. On the weekend that they moved in we had a little welcome to the neighbourhood / housewarming get together. I whipped up this card very quickly to give, along with a bottle of champers.

It’s called a Step Card. I thought it would be perfect to use with the Neighbourhood Wheel & co-ordinating All in the Family Stamp Set!! Mind the colouring and the stamping isn’t so crash hot!! BUT…even I cannot be perfect all of the time!! HA HA!!
Until next time friends,
Happy stamping!

He with the most tools….
Happy *belated* Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there! We had a lovely day looking after and spoiling my DH.
I didn’t get a picture of the card I’d made for him before Miss 2 got to it and scrumpled it up!! I’ll have to make another one for another day!! Anyway, here’s a cool card I made using the same set – Totally Tools. I love the saying in it – “he who has the most tools wins”. I think it’s hilarious!!

Cardstock: Kraft, Close to Cocoa, Choc Chip, Whisper White
Stamps: Totally Tools
Other: Mat Pack, sponges, Choc chip ink & marker, Silver Brads.
The base card was “smacked” with the open choc chip pad over and over until I got the effect I was looking for! Cool eh?
Ok, gotta keep running. I’m preparing for a Market on Saturday and I’m running out of time!!!!! Is anyone surprised?? LOL
Until next time friends,
Happy Stamping!
