Bit of this, bit of that!!
Hello lovely readers!! Well if you are still around even though i’ve been neglecting you, I thank you! Life has been on fast forward these last few weeks and I haven’t seem to have gotten much done. Having said that I’ve also gotten sucked into playing silly games on the computer waaaay past the time that I should have gone to bed, fed my children, done my housework etc etc!! LOL
I’ve also been doing classes in my home and i’ve no sooner done one than it’s the following week for another!! Amazing how time flies when you’re having fun! (waving to everyone who’s been!!)
Anyway, below are a couple of cards I made with the very lovely Miss Treez what seems like an eon ago. We had a lovely day stamping and catching up and having a little weep on each others shoulders! Don’t you love how you can do that with your stamping buddies? Anyway, enough chatter! The first card was a CASE from the catalogue using a colour combination from the SU! Colour Coach. I Cased the tag from page 71.

Colours are Old Olive, More Mustard, Elegant Eggplant and Bravo Burgundy! Not a combo i’d use naturally but looks not too bad together hey?
The next card is my Michelle Zindorf wannabe!!
Theresa gave me a fabbo demonstration on using the brayer. As you can see i’m still sporting “L” plates!! LOL

Next picture is what happens when the supanova glitter is left within reach of a very inquisitive but ever so cute 2 year old!

As you can see in the top half of the picture she has emptied the WHOLE container. And why yes, it was EVERYWHERE!!! And may I just say that my husband looked fetching with tangerine glitter in his beard at work the next day?! lol. It was through the entire house!! When I scooped it all up and put it back in the tub you can see just how far that stuff goes! It doesn’t even look like any has been used!! Amazing isn’t it? I am sure Miss Alexandra is still sporting some in her hair and ears regardles of the numerous washings she’s had since then!!
And on a final note! A reward for getting to the end of this very long-winded waffly post – a picture of Miss Lara and Miss Alexandra!! Cuteness doubled! I was quick to snap a picture of Lara the other day whilst the dreaded Nasal Gastric Tube was out!! She looked so pretty and peaceful!

Until next time!!
Keep your glitter up & happy stamping!

Bella Bleu Card Box
Hello All!!
I am a slack blogger of late aren’t I? I do have a few projects to post but I’m afraid i’ve been distracted with other things!! But i’m trying to get through the To Do list and get some of the cards and what not that i’ve been making up onto the blog!
This little flip top box and set of cards was made as a donation for a raffle for a Guides evening. I’ve used the Bella Bleu set of papers. I still don’t love them but they’re growing on me!

I didn’t take a phot of it open but I am in the process of making another and trying to photograph a tutorial of it for you. It’s a cool box!! And inside was a set of 6 cards and envelopes. Fairly simple design but I wanted to keep the papers the main element.

I used Kraft, Very Vanilla and Not Quite Navy Cardstock. I used Not Quite Navy ink and the Best Yet Level one hostess set. It would be my favourite hostess set at the moment!
Ok, best keep running today, Miss Lara has another appointment at the hospital. I will try to be back tomorrow!!
Happy Stamping!

Last week saw the start of my “regular” classes. If you are in Brisbane and live close to Moggill and are interested in attending my classes, please get in touch!
First technique was Emerging Colour. A very easy and yet effective technique to use with embossing. First stamp random images over the card using the inks of your choice. Then taking your large bold image stamp in versamark and clear emboss. Using a brayer {or sponge if you prefer} ink over the rest of the cardstock until only the embossed image is still visible with the “emerging” print from behind. I’ve used Organic Outline stamps with this card. Love it! AND I love the Sweet Always Papers that are available in our current catalogue. Just gorgeous!

Next card was Emboss Resist:

I think that you may hav seen the above card a few weeks ago in a post I did back then.
Third and final card is the Stained Glass Technique:

Stamp image in Versamark and emboss in Black. Using markers colour the reverse of the image. Looks quite nice in real life. The papers used on this card are from the Bella Bleu collection.
Don’t forget to leave a comment on THIS post if you want to be in the draw to win my BLOG CANDY!!!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
