Happy 40th Lisa
As I promised yesterday, here is the card I made for the 40th we went to briefly last night (the joys of parenting a baby hinder late nights!).
The base is 12.5 x 12.5cm square. I’ve used the delicious Ginger Blossom Designer Series Papers, Groovy Guava, River Rock and Ruby Red Cardstock. The Birthday Wishes stamp is from the Sincere Salutations Set. The “L” is from the On Board Lots of Letters Chipboard. I used a round container to make the circles (cut out by hand) and the River Rock Scallop Circle was created using my trusty 1/2″ circle punch – it’s my Faux Nestability!! (I still covet the real ones tho!
). The Crop a dile got a show on this card as well! I’ve neglected so many of my tools lately! I must make a point of getting them out more often!
Inside the card i’ve used the Circle of Friendship Stamp and the Scallop Circle, 1 1/4″ Circle, 1″ Circle punches for the accent. The inside cardstock is River Rock which is a bit hard to tell in the ordinary lighting, however it was still miserable and wet outside. I must get a white light to take pictures with (and some photography lessons to boot!).
I’m pretty sure that Lisa liked it. I hope you did too!! I’m off now to go through the mess that is my 6 (nearly 7) year old’s wardrobe! Urgh! I’m armed with garbage bags, storage boxes and the labeling machine so that I can encourage her gently to put her clothes back where they belong. (I’ve tried shouting and it didn’t work! LOL)
Until Next time,
Happy Stamping!
