Eastern Blooms meets strangers dress
Well I did tell you yesterday that I had a very inspirational day on Tuesday when I was out and about. The following card was inspired by the dress the lady in front of me at the post office was wearing. I must say I don’t get out much and I was very impressed by the number of clothing items with funky colours. There was another lady in Woolworths who’s top inspired me but i’m still thinking about how that will work in a card….maybe i’ll get it to work tomorrow for you all!
Anway, sorry for rabbiting on again (I just can’t help myself!). Here’s the card:
I even got enthusiastic and stamped an envelope and the inside of the card as well!!
Stamps: Eastern Blooms, So Many Sayings (hostess)
Cardstock: Wild Wasabi, River Rock, Sage Shadow, Pumpkin Pie, Elegant Eggplant & Whisper White
Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Sage Shadow, Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi
Other: Large Oval & Small Oval Punches, 1 3/8″ circle Punch, label punch.
I challenge you to use these colours! They really appealled to me and I’d love to see what someone else does with them!!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

Blogging Award

Kristy and Kristie have both nominated me recently for the Kreativ Blogger Award. I thank you both very much for your kind words. It warmed the cockles of my heart to get awarded them.
I visit so many sites and see so many excellent blogs that I just cannot possibly organise my mind enough to nominate people. I’m sorry, it seems like a bit of a cop out but honestly, if you could spend 5 minutes in my mind you would be running screaming in another direction and forgive me for missing out on playing this time around.
I do however recommend that you visit both girls and feast your eyes upon the loveliness of their creative talents!!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

Lucy’s Hat
I’m sorry I fully intended to come back yesterday and post this card but life just got in the way of stamping!! Rude really isn’t it??
Tuesday at school drop off a good friend of mine, Lucy, was wearing the cutest hat and I just had to use it for the inspiration for the following card! Lucy has the most exquisite taste in clothes and shoes, or maybe it’s her mum as she is only 3!
(waving to you both Sarah & Lucy).
Because it’s rainy and dark here today I had to try to get a good picture indoors. I don’t know if it shows up quite as bright as it is IRL. And lets face it. I am a poor photographer!
Stamps: Embrace Life
Cardstock: Cameo Coral, Whisper White, Real Red, Sage Shadow
Ink: Real Red, Cameo Coral, Sage Shadow
Other: 1/4″ Circle punch, Sponges
Now the creative juices must have been all flowing in the correct directions as when I was out and about on Tuesday I saw many colour combos that tickled my fancy and i’ll be posting the cards they inspired for you over the next couple of days. I’m being optomistic that i’ll maintain my current momentum!
Until Next time,
Happy Stamping!

First Day…..
I interrupt the usual stamping program for some more cute pictures of my children! I promise to have more stamping tomorrow (I stamped today!!! YAY)
Was it wrong to be doing internal cartwheels over the fact that 2 out of 4 of my children are going to school full time now?? I was so pleased that school started back today. 6 weeks is a long long time for stressed out mothers of multiple children who constantly bicker and whinge (the children, not the mother)!! I was so pleased to be packing them off this morning!! Here they are:
And here is Master Thomas all ready to go for his first day ever!! Isn’t he cute?
I did miss them though!! Let me share with you a conversation I had with Tom on the way home from school today:
Me: “I missed you guys so much today! I’m glad you had a good day though!”
Tom: “Gee Mum, I didn’t even think about you at all!! I was having fun!”
And while i’m at it I had better throw in a picture of Miss Lara May. Here she is plotting away:
Ok, that’s it for pictures of the kids for now. I’m sure i’ll have more moments where I want to share their deliciousness with the world!
Tomorrow I’ll post you a picture of the card I made tonight! I’ll wait until the sun is out and lighting is better to take a picture!
Until next time!
Happy Stamping!
