Kristina Colour Inspiration #25

October 10th, 2008

Woo hoo!!  I got to play!!  I love it when I can play.  And even better still the colours were very similar to ones I had in my head to make my nephew’s birthday card!!  So being the time-economical person that I am (snort) I combined the two!!  Here is her colour inspiration:

And here is my card for my Nephew James:

Stamps: Wild About You, Big Bold Birthday (Balloon), Headline Numbers (retired), In the Spotlight (hostess)
Ink: Certainly Celery, Ruby Red, So Saffron, Ballet Blue
Cardstock: So Saffron, Ballet Blue, Whisper White, Certainly Celery
Accessories: 5 Petal Punch, Dimensionals, 3/4″ Punch, 1″ Circle Punch,

I masked the elephant to use the dotted line stamp for the trunk of my “palm tree”.  I then used the 5 petal flower and punched it out three times to layer with dimensionals and create the fronds.  I also masked the balloons.  I sponged Celery over the torn Celery “grass” as well to try to add a little dimension.

Hope you like it!!  I hope James likes it!! Happy Birthday darling little man!!

Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
