Arrrgghh Me hearties…

June 2nd, 2008

Did you catch the pirate accent on the title?  Because that’s so important to the card!! LOL.  This one is a card I’ve created for a workshop I’ve got coming up in a couple of weeks for a dear friend (Hello Linda!).  She didn’t want the usual flowery card that you make so this is what I’ve come up with.  Hope she likes it.  I’m happy with the way it’s turned out!

Card stock: Choc Chip, Creamy Caramel, Very Vanilla
Ink: Choc Chip
Stamps: Ahoy Matey, Matey’s Map, Short and Sweet & Weathered Background
Other: Watercolour Wonder Crayons in Rich Regals & Neutrals, Aqua painter, Jumbo Wheel, Distressing Tool from Cutter Kit, Sponges.

To make the map I just inked in Choc Chip and rolled over the Very Vanilla.  I water coloured using the crayons and aqua painter.  While the paper was still damp I screwed it up into a ball and then flattened it back out again a couple of times to give it the worn map kinda look.

Until next time, Happy Stamping!!
