Alisa’s Colour Challenge
Well as I’m on the challenge roll this last week I thought I’d just jump on the bandwagon of the challenge my SU upline Alisa set on her blog. I wasn’t so fussed on the colours she picked, however I thought a challenge isn’t a challenge if it’s easy is it?? Here is my card:
Stamps: Fabulous Flowers & Everyday Flexible Phrases
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Apricot Appeal & Choc Chip
Cardstock: Choc Chip, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Pumpkin pie, Apricot Appeal & Whisper White
Accessories: Crop-a-dile, Jumbo Eyelet, Word Window Punch, Slot Punch, Wide Choc Chip Grosgrain ribbon.
I hope you like it. It’s not really the kinds of colours I normally use but I kinda like it. Let me know your opinion!! I have another Sketch Challenge Card to post in the next day or so and some other bits and pieces I’ve been busy making!!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

Kristina Werner Colour Challenge #13
Oh Yay, I’ve finally gotten around to completing a Kristina Werner Colour Challenge on time. I always have wonderful intentions and then life seems to get in the way of it all!! I’ve used both Baroque Motifs and Polka Dots & Paisley Stamp sets. Regal Rose, Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi and River Rock Inks. River Rock, Whisper White, Regal Rose & Purely Pomegranate Cardstock.
Hope you like it!!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping.
Fishy Sketch Challenge
Over at I {heart} 2 stamp there is a great Sketch For You To Try. So I did!! This is the card I came up with. I used Fishy Friends Stamp Set and also the small starfish and shell from Crab & Co. The seaweed that you see in the picture is actually the octopus tentacles upside down!! Tricksy huh? I have used the Spring Break DSP and Blue Bayou, Soft Sky and Certainly Celery Card stock.
I hope you like it. I water coloured it using Blender Pens and the Aqua Painter and ink from the lids of the Stamp pads and SU Markers directly onto the card stock.
Hope you like it!
Until Next time,
Happy Stamping!

Nursery Necessities Pocket Card
I love a good challenge and I love it when people ask me if I can provide instructions for something that i’ve never made before. I made this pocket card for Krislyn & Anita. Anita is having a baby very very soon and wanted the instructions for the pocket card on page 38 of the IB&C. I couldn’t find anything but decided it couldn’t be too hard. As a matter of fact, it’s been on my mind all afternoon and I couldn’t rest until it was created. (See what you do to me Krislyn!!!) LOL
So how did I do it?? It was very easy!! Take an A5 piece of Cardstock and score along the long side at 3.5cm and 10.5cm. Score from bottom at 3 cm. Cut excess card stock away (see diagram below). I used the 1 1/4″ Circle punch to punch out the top part.

To embellish the front of the card I used a strip of Blue Bayou, tied some Soft Sky Double Stitched Ribbon around the band and stamped the “Welcome, little one” sentiment onto the Soft Sky Card stock above the Blue Bayou band. I then layered a 1 3/8″ Circle in Soft Sky, a 1 1/4″ circle in Whisper white, the Star from Nursery Necessities stamped in soft sky and the Elephant from the same set stamped in Blue Bayou. I used the Word window punch to punch out the white strip and stamped the “It’s a boy” from Nursery Necessities on it. I punched out a small hole and attached it to the Double Stiched Soft Sky ribbon with some twine. The white insert just has a 1 1/4″ circle folded over and some more Soft Sky Ribbon stapled to the top! Voila. Pocket Card!!
Hope that’s what you were after Krislyn & Anita!!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!!
