Catching Up

July 29th, 2010

Hi again.  I haven’t been madly creating in all this time i’ve been away.  I’m not sure what we’ve been doing.  Life I think!!  LOL

The paper flowers below were a get well gift to Mark’s Nan who had some surgery on her knee a month or two back.  I wanted something more lasting than flowers but just as cheerful!  I’m pretty sure she liked them!! (Big thanks to Vickie for the box & Cello!)

And then the card to go with.  It’s also a card we made at a Big Shot Workshop that I did here.

Gotta love Petal Pizazz!!!

Must keep running now.   I do have a couple of other things I have made recently which need to be photographed, so hopefully it won’t be a gazillion days until i’m back!!

Until then,
Happy Stamping!!

More top notes

May 18th, 2010

Hi hi!  I told you i’d be back today.  Albeit later than I had originally planned in my head!!  It’s a shame that what goes on in my head never really seems to come to fruition in the real world.  Does anyone else have that problem??  lol

topnote ruffles

These two cards I made using a similar layout to the one on yesterday’s card.  Instead of the pleated paper I did some ruffled ribbon in Elegant Eggplant.  Love that colour.

I really love this colour combination.  Sahara Sand, Basic Grey, Elegant Eggplant.  Beautiful.  I used my trusty Organic Outlines.  And sentiments from Sweet Little Sentiments and Best yet.  The buttons and Brads are SU Basic Grey Corduroy.  I love the texture on this card!!

Anyway, hope you’re having a great week so far.  Hope to get back to you with some more stuff i’ve been doing soon!!

Until then,
Happy Stamping!

Orange and green should never be seen

May 17th, 2010

Or was that purple and green?  On the cover of a magazine??  Anyway..I’m a BIG fan of Tangerine Tango and Old Olive!  Big. Fan. hee

This card will be winging it’s way across the miles to a lovely lady whom I just know will appreciate the colours as much as I do.  Orange makes her happy on the inside as well.  I haven’t posted it yet.  I’ve not even written on the inside, but as I was making it I couldn’t help but think of her lovely smiling face so it’s definitely gotta go to her!! :-)  Do you ever do that?  Make something and then think, oh XYZ would love this?  And then send it?  Hmmnn.. I think I need to be doing it more often that’s for sure!!

I cannot go past this layout at the moment.  I’ve got some more cards to show you using it tomorrow.  I know.  That will be three posts in a row.  Don’t be falling over.  I might forget yet! LOL

See you round tomorrow!! (or the next day!!  haahahaha).  Also, for those that are interested, I’ve started doing Ali Edwards “A week in the life” today.  I just did it.  I’m not going to wait until a week is less hectic or more normal.  Define normal I say!!  So stay tuned, because I plan to SCRAP!!  Eek!  It’s been a while!!

Until Next time,
Happy Stamping!!
