Many thanks!
Morning! I’m back again!! I’ve been so busy this last couple of weeks but I’m sure you’re all used to me saying that by now aren’t you?? I guess when you have four children busy is normal. Anyway, while I’ve been MIA from blogging I have celebrated my birthday and had a housewarming at our new home for a close knit gathering of 60!! So forgive me my absences!!
I’ve been making some thank you cards this last week to say thanks for the lovely gifts we were given at the housewarming. I’ve been using the most delicious Raspberry Tart Papers. Did you SEE they are on special this week??!!!

I’ve used the Timeless Type Alphabet Sizzlit Dies for the Big Shot. LOVE my Big Shot!! Love IT!!
Must keep running now as it’s chilly here today and the more I sit the colder I get!! I hate to say it but I think I need to do some vacuuming to warm up!! Eeek!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

In the doghouse…
I have a confession to make. I ate quite a bit {read: most…if not nearly all} of the chocolate that I had previously given to hubby. BUT, in my defence, he didn’t seem so interested. I was also experiencing hormonal imbalances due to the unfortunate business of being a woman! They are my excuses and I am sticking to them!!
I did purchase him some replacement chocolate though. Because I’m that kind of girl. I did also make an amusing (well, it was to me!) card to go with said chocolate!!

I made a cute doggy out of punches!! I was aiming for remorse but don’t think I quite pulled it off!! Anyway, Mark laughed and continues to think i’m several birds short of a flock or something like that!!
Due to the horrid greyness of the day today I’ve been trying to do some stamping to brighten my mood. What this means for you is blog posts!! How excited does that make you feel?? tee hee
Until next time!
Happy Stamping!!

Filed under Miscellaneous | Comments (4)Happy Birthday dear Claire!!!
Another birthday of another dear and wonderful friend (and best neighbour in the WHOLE WORLD). I’ve kept Claire’s card fairly simple, as she’s not an over the top kinda girl! I used a stamp from the set That’s Funny and kept with the colours I know (think) she likes.

I’ve used Tangerine Tango, Soft Suede and Rich Razzleberry. A few large crystal brads and a bit of ribbon and it was done. I coloured the image (badly) using my ink pads and blender pen. The inside of the card reads “….since I tend to scare normal people away! Glad we’re friends!”
Hope you have a wonderful birthday Claire!!!! xoxoxoxo

Hi!! Remember me??? Yeah, I know! I know! It’s been a while! I do however have legitimate excuses for the absence in blogland! My Lara has been quite ill and was in hospital for a week. We are also in the process of selling our house and buying another one! Crazy chaotic hectic life!! Just imagine how much crap err I mean stuff that a family of 6 can accumulate!! We’ve been madly de-cluttering and getting ourselves sorted. I had an immaculate craft room (Megan, it’s true!!) but the kids and I have been crafting away making some Easter Baskets. I had misplaced my camera so I couldn’t take pictures of the room, but we’ve another open home next weekend so when it’s all beautiful again, i’ll take some photos and show you what i’m leaving (sob sob).
Ok, so the baskets! Sorry I get a little chatty when i’ve been away from you for a while! So without further ado, the plethora of baskets we’ve been making!
First up the little mini baskets for some children we’ll be seeing at a bbq on Easter Monday. They are just made from a 6×6″ piece of card stock. I’ve also added a little insert with a hole punched out so they don’t wobble about in there!

Then the basket I’ll be giving my next door neighbours. Claire doesn’t eat chocolate (I know! A sin!) but David does. So there are some jubes for Claire and some Chocolate for David!

I’ve used the new Window Sheets from SU! to make the base of the box. You can get them in the NEW MINI CATALOGUE!

The next two baskets are for the children next door.

And these little beauties, well! They are the fantastic creations of three of my munchkins!! We have from left to right: Alexandra, Katelin & Thomas. All a little different, just like the kids themselves.

And below are all the baskets on the end of my table! I’ve actually still got a couple more to make but after this lot should find the next couple a doddle to whip up!

All of the Designer series papers used in the above baskets are retired. I’m trying very hard to use up some of my stash. It’s actually a bit embarrassing how much stuff I really do have!
I hope that you have a happy & safe Easter break!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!!
