For Megan…
Just a little quick post this morning. I’ll work on getting some other posts up this week!! I have done a little stamping this week. Not too much as it seems to be impossible for me to create without making a mess! Hard to imagine I know!!
My beautiful and very dear friend (and downline) Megan celebrated her birthday last week. I was SO organised and had made her a little card and had a present ready because I was going to see her on the weekend. And then, I left it at home! So typically me! So Meges, here is the card lovely and you’ll have to wait for the gift!!

I made her an easel card/desktop calendar “thing”. And that is definately the technical term for it! I’ve used the very new Soft Suede along with More Mustard & Taken with Teal. I’ve used Vintage Vogue as well. Hope you like it!!
Also because sometimes Megan thinks I’m fibbing, i’m recording here a few photos of my very tidy craft room! I know it’s only tidy because we are having open homes, however, it is still tidy and that counts!! lol!! So Meges, PROOF!! hahaha (you know I love you!)

Happy Stamping!!

My Fabulous Team!!
What a magnificent time I had over the weekend with my Fabulous Team!!! I has the bestest time with them all and inspiration was flowing freely around!! It was wonderful spending time with my “old” friends and making new ones of the team members I hadn’t met before! We laughed, stamped, shared meals and had a wonderful weekend. Thank you girls for making it great!! Can’t wait for Mad Inkstincts Team Retreat 2011!!
Here we all are out the front of our “party house”. It had stopped raining and was “clear” (insert sarcasm). LOL

I was so proud of all the girls who participated in all the challenges that were set even if they did find them….ummm….challenging!! LOL
Here are some of the cards from the weekend:

I can’t show you some of the other photos taken because what happened on Retreat is to stay on retreat!!! LOL. But I had the best time & it’s all thanks to the wonderful, talented & special girls that I have in my team!! Thank you Darlings!!!
Until Next time,
Happy Stamping!!

RETREAT!
I’ve been a bit absent this last couple of weeks getting myself ready for my first ever (not last!!) Team Retreat! There are 11 of us heading up to a beautiful big house at Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast to stamp and eat and possibly consume alcohol (ummm actually pretty sure I will be doing this one!), laugh and stamp some more and generally have a great time! Jealous? Oooh YOU could come with us next year!! Yep. You just need to join my team!!
Anyway, Retreat starts tomorrow. I’ve been busily preparing some little surprises for the girls. Can’t really show too much here because one never knows if there will be spies lurking on the internets & I want to have some surprises!!
Just a little sneaky peak of the little bag I made up with a couple of things inside.

The tags were computer generated. My team is called “Mad Inkstincts”.
I’ll post back early next week to let you all know how we went and maybe, just maybe share some pics!!
Until then,
Happy stamping!!

Oh what a week!!
Phew! I don’t even know where to start to catch up on all that needs catching up on!!
Firstly, let me say a HUMUNGOUS thank you to all those who supported my Cards for a Cause day!! We had a fantastic time, all went off without a hitch and we have raised just under $3000!!!! Isn’t that FANTASTIC??!! I was a very happy stamper!! I still have a lot of card kits left over and my wonderful neighbour Claire (slurp slurp) and I will be making them into cards and selling them at the local Farmers Market in Moggill this coming Saturday (20th Feb). I’d like to get over the 3K mark if I can. I’m pretty close!!! Here are a coulple of pictures from the day:

Above you can see the lovely Jemma & Jenna at our cards for sale stand. We sold all but about 40 from the 300+ cards we had!! I was blessed to have many demonstrators donate cards to me for the cause! The Stamping Community is so generous!!

Above you can see all the YUMMY food we had for sale. Again all the food was donated by many many people. We had an abundance of delicious things to eat!!
I’ve spent this last week in hospital with my darling Lara who’s got a bit of a virus and an infection. Thankfully we’re home now but she’s still not 100%. Being in hospital is like being in a bubble. You think the world stops while you’re there but unfortunately it doesn’t!! I’ve got stacks of things to catch up on and I’m exhuausted!! No rest for the wicked though!!!
Hopefully i’ll have a more stamping related post for you soon!
Until then I hope you get more Inky than i’ve been getting!!

Oh and Happy Heart Day!! xo
