Last *last* Top Note card

Well maybe not the last card I make with it…but perhaps the last one that I show you for a while!! I have Buck (the Big Shot) sitting on my desk and it’s so easy to reach for him and get myself a card whipped up in no time.

This was seriously a 5 minute card. What’s that? You could tell?? Oh well!! LOL
And this next picture is what happens when your three year old sees you taking pictures of cards. ”Take one of ME Mummy!!!”

Miss Alexandra and Ted. Whom she informed me today is a Boy and a Girl because he is brown. Of course!
Until next time!
Happy Stamping!

Some Bunny(ies) to love!!
Morning all!!! This week has flown by again! Where are the days going??? Anyway, I managed to get another Just Add Ink Challenge #8 done yesterday. I’m enjoying their challenges and try to participate each week. Go have look – play along too!!
Anyway, this weeks challenge is Just Add Easter!! I’ve seen some punch art Bunnies around the land of blogs and wanted to try one for myself. As I was playing yesterday my (soon to be
year old daughter, Katelin, wanted to play too. So this week there is a card from me & a card from Katelin!!
So shall I get on with the bunnies? My Bunny:

Katelin’s bunny:

The two bunnies together:

And the back of the bunny where you can get your marshmallows from:

Supplies:
1 3/4″ circle punch, 1 3/” circle punch, Large Heart Punch, 3 flower punch, 1/4″ circle punch, 3/4″ circle punch, Round Tab Punch, Circle Scissors, Large & Small oval punches, Word window punch.
On my card i’ve used Urban Oasis & Good Morning Sunshine papers, Katelin used Kalidescope DSP. My base is Choc Chip, Kate’s is Pixie Pink. We’ve also both used the mat pack and a piercing tool with to get the holes & a white gel pen to do the “faux” stitching.
Stamps: A good Egg, A Good Neighbour.
I was very proud of my girl, she did good. I will confess that it was probably the best “session” of creating we’ve ever had. She’s a tad strongwilled and opinionated (& no, I don’t know where she gets THAT from! lol) so we usually have some issues. Yesterday, she listened and was following instruction beautifully. She also added the mouth to her bunny and only ate a handful of marshmallows in the process of creating!! I’ll leave you with one more picture of my girl and her card!!

Until next time!
Happy Stamping!!

PS…Have you seen the movie Ella Enchanted? There is a part in the movie where Ella sings Somebody to love…do you remember? Anyway, the whole time we were making these cards I couldn’t help myself singing along to the song but changing it from Somebody to Somebunny. So there is the explanation of the blog title.

Phew! I don’t even know where to start to catch up on all that needs catching up on!!
Firstly, let me say a HUMUNGOUS thank you to all those who supported my Cards for a Cause day!! We had a fantastic time, all went off without a hitch and we have raised just under $3000!!!! Isn’t that FANTASTIC??!! I was a very happy stamper!! I still have a lot of card kits left over and my wonderful neighbour Claire (slurp slurp) and I will be making them into cards and selling them at the local Farmers Market in Moggill this coming Saturday (20th Feb). I’d like to get over the 3K mark if I can. I’m pretty close!!! Here are a coulple of pictures from the day:

Above you can see the lovely Jemma & Jenna at our cards for sale stand. We sold all but about 40 from the 300+ cards we had!! I was blessed to have many demonstrators donate cards to me for the cause! The Stamping Community is so generous!!

Above you can see all the YUMMY food we had for sale. Again all the food was donated by many many people. We had an abundance of delicious things to eat!!
I’ve spent this last week in hospital with my darling Lara who’s got a bit of a virus and an infection. Thankfully we’re home now but she’s still not 100%. Being in hospital is like being in a bubble. You think the world stops while you’re there but unfortunately it doesn’t!! I’ve got stacks of things to catch up on and I’m exhuausted!! No rest for the wicked though!!!
Hopefully i’ll have a more stamping related post for you soon!
Until then I hope you get more Inky than i’ve been getting!!
Madonna
Oh and Happy Heart Day!! xo

Hey there!!!
Just quickly popping in to let you know about the Fundraiser I am holding this weekend. As some of you are aware, my 4th child Lara, was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy last year. It’s been a very difficult 12 months. During this time we have been lucky enough to get support from Xavier Children’s Support Network. I have been so grateful to them for all of their support, especially from my Key Worker Ros, who has had to put up with some of my less than perfect moods!! So bearing that in mind, I wanted to give something back for all of the support that they have given us – physical, emotional & in equipment.
