Another Challenge

Hello again!
I’m trying really very hard to get back into my stamping via challenges!! Is it a week since I was here last? Where’d that go?? Makeesha’s Challenge this week is a colour one. I love colour challenges!

I have used Great Friend which was in the Summer (spring?) Mini Catalogue and my favourite Organic Outlines. I predict that Great Friend will make a return in the new Catalogue due out September 1. I also predict that Organic Outlines will make the retirement list that’s going to be available on 1 August. :-(
I used the 1 3/4″ circle punch for the Vanilla circle on the card and two little Designer Labels in Choc Chip placed together make the perfect mat! tricky huh??
Ok, gotta keep running. I’m up to my eyeballs in doing things for my Christmas {Cards} in July class next weekend!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

Abduction and a Challenge..
Nope. I’ve not really been abducted. I’d like to say that was the case and it explains my lack of blogging. Perhaps I could say my creative inspiration has been abducted? At any rate, once again I apologise for my absence. We have been having school holidays here. I have enjoyed having a break from the monotony of the school term, however I am looking forward to some quieter days. Enough said!
So to kick my mojo back into gear I decided firstly to clean my desk (shocking I know!), and secondly to do Makeesha’s challenge this week. A sketch. Not my favourite kind of challenge and I’ll admit to it taking longer than it reasonably should have. I had to swim through the glue that has taken over what used to be my mind!
The sketch:

My interpretation:

So very unexciting but I’ve climbed back in the saddle of creating again and hope to get some more stamping done this week. Fingers crossed!!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

Inkspiration Sketch Challenge #22

Hi!! Wow. A week has past since the internet has been re-connected. I have done a small amount of crafting. Not much though as i’m not set up to my satisfaction. I need more space!! LOL I have too much stuff!! Perhaps I need to have an auction or something? Anyway, enough of my chat!
Here is my submission for Makeesha’s Sketch challenge this week. I had fun making these flowers. I think I’m going to need to do some more!

Cardstock: Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss DSP, Bella Rose DSP
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette
Stamps: Weathered BG, Pocket Silhouettes
Other: Bigshot Little Leaves, Riding Hood Red Striped Grosgrain, Word Window Punch.
Felt good to get inky again! I’ve got some ideas running through my head that I wanna get done so hope to get back here soon. I’m also thinking about doing Ali Edwards A week in my Life project. Hmmm. Thinking about it. LOL
Until then,
Happy Stamping!!

Some Bunny(ies) to love!!
Morning all!!! This week has flown by again! Where are the days going??? Anyway, I managed to get another Just Add Ink Challenge #8 done yesterday. I’m enjoying their challenges and try to participate each week. Go have look – play along too!!
Anyway, this weeks challenge is Just Add Easter!! I’ve seen some punch art Bunnies around the land of blogs and wanted to try one for myself. As I was playing yesterday my (soon to be
year old daughter, Katelin, wanted to play too. So this week there is a card from me & a card from Katelin!!
So shall I get on with the bunnies? My Bunny:

Katelin’s bunny:

The two bunnies together:

And the back of the bunny where you can get your marshmallows from:

Supplies:
1 3/4″ circle punch, 1 3/” circle punch, Large Heart Punch, 3 flower punch, 1/4″ circle punch, 3/4″ circle punch, Round Tab Punch, Circle Scissors, Large & Small oval punches, Word window punch.
On my card i’ve used Urban Oasis & Good Morning Sunshine papers, Katelin used Kalidescope DSP. My base is Choc Chip, Kate’s is Pixie Pink. We’ve also both used the mat pack and a piercing tool with to get the holes & a white gel pen to do the “faux” stitching.
Stamps: A good Egg, A Good Neighbour.
I was very proud of my girl, she did good. I will confess that it was probably the best “session” of creating we’ve ever had. She’s a tad strongwilled and opinionated (& no, I don’t know where she gets THAT from! lol) so we usually have some issues. Yesterday, she listened and was following instruction beautifully. She also added the mouth to her bunny and only ate a handful of marshmallows in the process of creating!! I’ll leave you with one more picture of my girl and her card!!

Until next time!
Happy Stamping!!

PS…Have you seen the movie Ella Enchanted? There is a part in the movie where Ella sings Somebody to love…do you remember? Anyway, the whole time we were making these cards I couldn’t help myself singing along to the song but changing it from Somebody to Somebunny. So there is the explanation of the blog title.
