The Artfull Stampers have been stamping up a storm again and we’re celebrating the launch of our new catalogue with another Blog Hop!! I’m # 2 on the hop. You may have come here from Melissa’s blog.

Today I’m showing you a different way to use the Season of Style Designer Journalling Tags.  You will find them on Page 22 of the Catalogue.  They fit perfectly with the 8×8″ divided page protectors that are available in this catalogue as well. But today I wanted to show you that if you don’t scrapbook, you shouldn’t just skim over these babies! They’re great for cards too!! And only $8.95!!

I’ve made a little folder that fits 6 cards and envelopes.  A great gift to give a teacher!

I’ve also used the Season of Style Washi Tape which is so cute!!!

This project came together really quickly! So the little journalling tags are a great way to make a bunch of cards in a hurry!!

Next on the hop you will be heading on over to  Anna’s Blog!  Enjoy the hop and don’t forget to leave some comment love.

It’s a case…

So we’re still stamping by the sea (ocean)…still enjoying the company of like-minded talented and creative people.  Still enjoying time to just *be*. You know? No running after kiddies, no sorting life shizzle out.  Bliss.

So anyway as part of the weekend I did make quite a number of cards and some of those were cased from others as well as the catalogue.  The first card here today is a case of a card Nicole made.

I used one of my new favourite stamps – Gorgeous Grunge and the happy Yippee Skippee stamps which have some great sentiments.  I love this one!! You can never have too much happy is fabulous!!!

Next card is a direct case of the current Catalogue. The only difference is that I didn’t use a doiley but the doiley die and I changed up the colours a bit.

Hope you are enjoying the regular posts.

Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

If we’re stamping by the sea….

We should make cards that fit that theme! Yes? Yes! lol

This card came about after my dear, kind and wonderful friend Nicole challenged me to use the Venetian Romance DSP.  Which I (I will admit) find a bit yack.  Not my cup of tea at all so as you can imagine I found this quite a challenge!!

You can see how I layered the shells in this picture below.

I used watercolour paper from SU to make the circle.  I stamped the image and then picked up the Island Indigo on my aqua painter and mixed it around.  I wanted it to look a little less “formed” as such.

Anyway! Hope you liked it.  Still many more cards to come from the retreat.

Happy Stamping!

Oh my Giddy Aunt!! I’m here again!!!

Don’t faint or fall down.  THREE DAYS IN A ROW!!! It’s scary huh???  Don’t worry, I won’t be making it four days as i’m heading down south for a lovely few days with my stamping friend Nicole Derendorf. Yay!!

But before I go!!! Here are some more lovelies to feast your eyeballs upon!!!

_MG_8311 (Copy)This one was made using my cutter and I just took out the square from the middle…you could just use a square framelit in the position you wanted and get the same effect.  The little chevrons are from the HEXAGON PUNCH!!! Oh yes. That’s right!! The Hexagon punch. I love that thing!!!

_MG_8297 (Copy)This card came about from another demonstrator who had posted a Black, White and Yellow card.  I really need to get an alignment tool for my bling though huh???  Didn’t look so bad…until I took a picture!! LOL

And so there you have it!!  A couple of cards to tide you over!! I’m hoping to get VERY creative in the next few days so here’s to some more blogging next week!!!

Until then,
Happy sunshiney stamping!!!

But wait…there’s more!

I can’t promise you a free set of steak knives, but I do have more cards I’ve made!!  Does that make you happy on the inside??? lol

I can’t tell you how much I love some of the new stamps and punches and elements from the New Catalogue.  I am very much in love with a lot of it!!!  Here are some more cards using new stamps etc.

This is using the Six Sided Sampler set with the matching Hexagon punch (LOVE). I’ve also used the Notable Notions stamp set that I won at convention!!  Base card stock is Baked Brown Sugar and I’ve teamed it with Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana.

The next card uses Tape It and , Hello Lovely.  Two of my new favourite stamps. I’ve just stamped them all in a kind of chevron pattern. I love Chevrons too!! lol

Stampin’ Up! Convention 2013

Wow!!  Last week I was lucky enough to go to the 2013 Stampin’ Up! ® “Be The Difference” Convention.  It was fantastic!! Not only did I get to have a sneaky peak at the next catalogue, I got to spend several days with some of the best people on earth!!

Every time SU! holds an event like this I try to do Swaps.  This year I decided to incorporate My Digital Studio™ into my swaps.  I created little “Art Quotes” to be framed or even just tacked to a noticeboard.  There were two different designs.  I mounted them onto DSP and put a small strip of matting behind each to “lift” it.  I didn’t take pics of the finished products but here are the quotes for you.

Both quotes were found on the internet and I just used a variety of different fonts to create the look I was after.  If you want more information feel free to email me!

Hope you’re all well and happy!!!
Until next time,
Happy Creating!!!

Today I’ve made three cards to show you.

Next card is using the embossing folder again with the Rain or Shine stamps. The sun is just made from pieces of the Sunshine & Sprinkles DSP cut into long triangles.  The circle is cut from the 1 3/4″ circle punch.

_MG_7530 (Copy)

And last card was made using the Pursuit of Happiness stamps along with the Rain or Shine umbrella again. I’m a bit partial to a polka-dotty umbrella!! You might also notice the super-sized rhinestones.  You can get those in the Seasonal Catty too. Nice to have some mega bling choice!!!

_MG_7533 (Copy)I hope you liked the three cards I made for the Hop.  Feel free to leave some comment love along the way as you hop along.  Next stop on the hop is Alisa Tilsner. If you get lost along the way you can come back here and the full list is below.

The Artful Stampers Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop!!!

It’s SALE A BRATION time!!! It is our Annual party and it’s where you get the presents!!! You can earn free products by hosting a party, purchasing products or joining to become a Demonstrator yourself. Email or telephone me to find out more details!!

To whet your appetite for all the goodies you can earn it’s time for another Artfull Stampers Blog Hop!! You may have hopped here from Caroline’s Blog.  I’m stop #1 on the Hop and I’m glad you’re here sharing in the fun!!

Today I’m showing you some of the things you can do with the very cute Pretty Petites stamp set.  What is even *better* about this set is that it comes with a matching punch!!!! And we loves our matching punches, don’t we???

First up I made a set of four cards.  I used the Sycamore Street (also a SAB freebie) DSP along with Whisper White, Crumb Cake and some accents using Rich Razzlebery Cardstock.  Very easy to do, super cute to co-ordinate.  See below:

And I was pleased. BUT.  I was having fun with the stamps and the punching and the general loveliness of the Sycamore Street DSP that I wanted more. (We always want more don’t we?) So I kept going and made some very little 3×3 note cards that will be super quick to pop on top of a gift.

And they had to have matching Envelopes. And then they *had* to have a box to go into!! Because, really???!!! How CUTE will this be as a gift??? 6 cute little cards and envelopes!! Perfect to have on hand for a forgotten birthday or even a hostess thank you with a bottle of wine (I drink white or red, just incase you’re invited over!! Lol).

So once I’d made up the box for the 3×3 cards and decorated it I thought it needed to be wrapped and ready to go as a little gift.

So as you can see it was super easy and quick to whip up a few little cards using scraps and leftovers from the big cards. A few hours work and I’ve restocked the card box times 4 and also added a little 3D gift for easy giving.  The Sale-A-Bration papers, ribbons, buttons & Stamps are gorgeous as always!!

Artfull Stampers Holiday Mini Hop

Hope that you’ve all been enjoying the gorgeousness of the Annual Catalogue. The Holiday Catalogue also went live on the 1st of September, but we thought we’d give you a couple of weeks to get into it before we bombarded you with the beautiful things the Holiday Catty brings!!!

So another Artfull Stampers Hop ~ this time to celebrate the Holiday Catalogue Launch!! You may have hopped here from Alisa’s Blog.  I’m stop #2 on the Hop and I’m glad you’re here sharing in the fun!!

I’m showing you a quick and Tag Set with the Scentsational Season Stamps and Framelit Dies.

First of all the box with the 6 tags inside.  The box is using the Fancy Favour Box from the Annual Catalogue.  This is the best, most versatile box!! I use it all the time!!  The paper on the front is from the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack.  Great value at 48 sheets for only 11.95.  Sheets are only 11.4cm x 16.5cm but perfect for all those little things we do at Christmas. Great size for full cards too!!

Firstly I made three very basic Tags.  You can see they didn’t take much putting together:

Next set of three I stepped up a little.  They were a little more time consuming but I think you could get a production line going and make a whole bunch in no time at all.

And all of the Tags and Box together:

Feel free to get in touch with me if you need any more information on the above.

Now click on the link to Melissa’s Blog for the next stop on our Hop. I am sure you will find lots of wonderful ideas over there to inspire you. And in case you get lost or there are broken links just pop back here for the full list of stampers taking part in this hop.
